Our Mission & Vision
Our mission is to empower our students to become critical thinkers who are able to communicate effectively and develop skills and knowledge to help them become productive members of society. We all share in the responsibility of helping our students reach their goals in a nurturing, and supportive environment.
PS 221 will strive to be a consistent and stable learning institution in the community. We envision a school where all students can master the standards. Our school will serve as a foundation in our community that will be supportive while encouraging lifelong learners. Our school will continuously focus on MATH, LITERACY, and TECHNOLOGY and ensure that they are fully integrated into all subject areas.

Membership is open to anyone who believes in the mission and purposes of Parent Teacher Association. Individual members may belong to any number of PTAs and pay dues in each. Every person who joins a local PTA® automatically becomes a member of both the state and national PTAs. Together we are a powerful voice for children. With your help, we can continue to work toward PTA's goal of a quality education and nurturing environment for every child.
